You can store a password on a YubiKey, and enter the password by touching the YubiKey. For this you need the YubiKey Manager desktop application.
In the YubiKey Manager application:
- Go to Applications tab
- Click “configure” on Long Touch or Short Touch
- Click “static password”
- Enter your static password
Now when you long/short touch the YubiKey, the password will be entered.
